Alice Warukira Murage has a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics: Over 10 years of Agricultural Economics research and development experience in Africa, Extensive experience in designing and implementation of quantitative and qualitative social science and gender research using participatory methods and approaches, Experience in Project management on technology upscaling, Skilled in monitoring and evaluation, and impact assessment of research and development projects, Conducting Project Implementation Completion and Results Report (ICR) for two World Bank-funded projects (Eastern Africa Agricultural Productivity Project (EAAPP) and Kenya Agricultural Productivity and Agribusiness Project (KAPAP). Strong skills in data management, qualitative and quantitative data analysis using relevant economic models, competent in using SPSS and STATA packages.
Experience in translating data into quality research outputs and communicating this through high quality is written outputs and presentations, documenting achievements and lessons learned, targeting national, regional and international audiences. A strong team player who is able to motivate colleagues and partners, Strong cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary awareness and able to accommodate diverse working styles. I have been able to influence partners, stakeholders and coordinated teams in a cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment.
